The long and winding road

For a few days, this blogger is giving this blog a well deserved (?) rest and is instead going to be blogging at a new place. If you go there, you'll make out why. Will be back here of course, but after a little while.

Hopefully, you'll journey with me and leave your kind comments there too.

Will arm chair travel through your posts. Am waiting to read travel posts and anecdotes from a globe trotter like you.

Oh wow! Bon Voyage! Were there really any places left that you didn't go to or just reviving some old memories ;-) ?

it is all a secret rendezvous, Shachi ... on a strictly need-to-know basis. which is why the link doesn't work for you and me :(

@All - Hey thanks for your nice words. Stupid TravelPod automatically deleted the new blog I started because a machine decided that I am advertising which was against the terms !! How do you argue with a machine ?? I've asked them to reinstate it, when the link should work - if not I'll simply start it in a new blog place.

My first post was up there. No- not going anywhere exotic. That post concluded saying - Me, my car and the long and winding road. That's all ! No globe trotting.

Will get that up in a day, hopefully.

If Jules Verne could go around the world in 80 days, I could definitely cover your 8000 kms in a day. But as I got to the end of the journey I regretted missing the ride more than making it to the finish line. I am reeling in the infamous busy season of public accounting but the message hit home hard. Nevertheless, my most favorite part about your trip is you going all by yourself. You've inspired me to do a road trip all by myself someday :) (I can visualize the hubby shaking his head)

@Deepa - Don't work too hard young lady ! And yes, its a god bug to catch - the good man is shaking his head in encouragement !!

:) :) Do you remember the budget seasons and the year ends when you would stop at my desk and say the exact same thing! Somethings just never change.
